PICTURES, PICTURES, PICTURES, AND MORE PICTURES
I want you all to know how special you made the trip to India and Nepal for me. This was the first organized tour I have been on and had several reservations about being on such a trip. You all made it as easy and as enjoyable as possible, even when I wasn’t feeling too well. This was one fun-filled, action-packed; dance until you drop, wild and crazy tour.
Special thanks to Lee for making this a fun excursion and I only hope we made it as enjoyable for him in some small measure.
Since I am not a professional photographer, you will find many of the pictures of questionable quality. Of course, it’s not easy to get really good shots dodging cow dung on the streets, riding on rickshaws, or through the motor coach window on rough roads. I’ll take the blame for the bad ones where I was outdoors and standing still. For me, they serve only to jog the crystal clear memory I have of each of you, the tour events, the sights, the sounds, the smells, the food, and the company & camaraderie of really great people.
It was a bit too time-consuming to go completely through all the pictures to cull out those of events or people of which you will not be familiar but I hope you enjoy them nonetheless.
Best regards from your travel companion on the Friendly Planet, Best of India & Nepal tour, March 2008
